Lisa´s Background

Lisa grew up just south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Northern Virginia in 1987.  She has lived in Oak Hill, Virginia for the past 22 years.  She is married to Jon Nelson (also a licensed Realtor & Engineer) and has two children.  She is an avid cook and enjoys scrapbooking.

Real Estate History

 Lisa started her real estate career in February, 1990 as a part-time agent while working as a software engineer.  Real estate soon became the sole focus and she has worked for two international franchise systems in the past.  In October of 2007, she formed Nelson Realty Group LLC.  Previous experience includes managing, training and  mentoring other Realtors.
